PLANT IN TURKEY
The Scope
of the work is to increase the production of the AKSA
Acrylic Chemical Industry Factory.
Description:
A new water intake system was designed to reduce the
initial temperature of the cooling water from the sea. A
new pipeline is designed to take water from a deeper sea
bottom. Also a new filtration system and pumping
facility designed to increase the efficiency. 620 m of

the sea and sunk as one piece from shore to offshore
(deepest sea level of 27 m). The water pool is 8 meters
long with a depth of 4 meters. The pump chambers have
filters of 4x8x4 m in them. Both are constructed as
caissons on the shore . The contract is on the Design &
