THE POTABLE WATER SUPPLY LINE AND ESTABLISHMENTS OF
MARDIN KIZILTEPE IN TURKEY
The scope
of the work is to supply water from the Beyazsu water
resource to the Ortaköy Region of Kızıltepe in Mardin
with the prospect of supplying potable, usable and
industrial water until 2040.
Construction years: 2006 – 2009
Owner: State Water Works / Turkey (DSI)
Client: Oztas Construction Co.
Description:
▪ Construction of complete water intake.
▪ 40.700 km of DN1200 and DN 1100 mm GRP pipes,
▪ 8.355 km of DN800, DN600 and DN500 mm steel pipes,
▪ 64.100 km of PE pipes with several diameters and
establishment buildings.
▪ 4 pump stations and 6 buried water tanks with a total
capacity of m3 and a chlorination plant.
▪ Service and connection roads.
▪ Mechanical, electrical, cathodic protection and
automation works (SCADA System)
